   There are multiple factors to get the heart magnet to work. 1. You need a strong magnet. I had to stack 3 to get the effect i wanted. 2. You have to hold it very close to the polish for several seconds, especially if you're using a thicker polish like the born pretty or xeijay which is the silver one in the photo. Thiner polish will form the heart faster. Either way give it a few seconds. 3. Test the heart wire on both sides of the magnet. I got cleaner lines when i turned the magnet and marked which side worked better. So overall it works but you have to play with it a bit.

   Regarding its operation, it is easier to obtain the effect on a nail polish with very, very thin particulates. But it is well achieved.
